Cheryl McGinnis Gallery

I began the salon in 1995 with the desire to create engaging and exciting conversations with artists and viewers that connect people to art.  After many years of success, I opened a commercial space on Madison Avenue and then in Tribeca.  Although those spaces were very much in keeping with my pre-war apartment space, I missed the salon space.
In 2011 along with the gallery in Tribeca, I became curator of the Flatiron Prow Art Space,  We created a space that made art accessible to all from the street and engaged viewers in conversation with artist residencies in the space.
I am proud to have been instrumental in acquisitions by Princeton Museum of Art, The Guggenheim Museum of Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, MTA Transit, Museum of Chinese in America, The Queens Museum of Art, The Library of Congress and many private collections.
The conversation continues…Cheryl McGinnis Gallery offers private collection shown in salon style events with conversations with the artist.
